I finally traded-in my 'x'/married name and am beginning a new chapter of my life as Ruth Lawrence. I am back to student life focusing on my AA. Travel is at the top of my list of fav. things to do. New York City is the best for theatre; I love the Operas! ...favorite past-time: gourmet meal with a friend or family. Oh yes, and cappuccino-sipping in a cozy coffee shop.
About Rae
I live with my husband, Dave, in Syracuse, NY where I am also a graduate student (soon to be intern) in clinical psychology. My mom and sister live far away... this blog is one of many efforts to stay connected. My favorite time of day is at night when I get in bed to read and drink a cup of sleepytime tea.
About Kate
Kate: 28 year old nursing student living in Missoula, Montana. Enjoys downhill skiing, running, backpacking, and cooking. About Ann
Ann - I'm only 51 and love keeping fit, hiking, running w/ my puppy, George, working in my yard, and I love being on the water. I'm learning to play the cello and am determined to master it....or at least learn a song on it! I've worked at a healthcare company for 17 years. I have 4 great, all adult children - and 5 beautiful grandchildren. Oh yes, and my husband and I have been married for 32 years. I've been thru a long reading dry spell and am looking forward to reading some good books.
About Liz
Liz: 28 year old brand new physician assistant, trying to come to terms with the fact that this is what I've been working for 10 years to do. Now I've just got to keep myself together and actually do it! Otherwise, I love to spend time with my hubby and my puppy (I'm a little obsessed with the latter!!), and I love to play outside - hiking, walking, jogging, Frisbee-ing, skipping, and hopefully kayaking too! I'm re-adjusting to life in the 'Ham, and life as a non-student. Just getting back into reading, and when I'm not immersing myself in journals, I love to get lost in slice of life books that are easy and fun to get through. Oh - and I tend to be a bit long-winded!
