Travel Reading

So, I've been thinking of a new topic that we can all get in on discussing. Here's the best I've come up with:
What do you read when you travel? Do you prefer magazines for the simplicity and ease of short articles that are easily disrupted? Or are you more into your engrossing novel du jour to help distract from the annoyances at the airport? Crosswords or Soduku puzzles more your thing?
More importantly, why? Lets discuss!!

My general preference for travel is light magazines - Outside or People or something. That way, if you fall asleep on the plane, or if you have to stop reading to gawk at the crazy parenting skills happening in line in front of you, it doesn't really take away from the reading experience.
I've tried to read my medical journals, but I have a tough time focusing while I'm flying. I tend to just fall asleep and drool all over them when I do that.
I can do a book, but I get all frustrated when I get distracted, so I tend to avoid that situation all together.
I'm going to be interested to hear what everyone else has to say on the matter!
